The WDS currently has openings for our fall session which begins August 30.

In April the Weekday School held a silent auction for beautiful hand-painted platters created by the teachers and children. This fundraiser was a great success, raising $510 for the school!! It is a wonderful testament to the sense of community shared throughout the preschool. The timing of this fundraiser was more important than we knew, as it was held right after the devastating flooding that occurred on May 1st and in the days thereafter. We were able to do our part to help he community of Nashville as a whole, thanks to our preschool family’s generosity.

Belmont Weekday School donated 50% of the proceeds from this fundraiser to Hands On Nashville, a local group that continues to work fervently to help our community at the local level. While this may seem like a drop in the bucket compared to what it will cost to get this city back to normal, we know every little bit helps. We feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of this giving community.

In January 2010, the WDS hosted three assessors from the State of Tennessee, Department of Health.  They observed three different classrooms and then graded our preschool. We recently received a summary of their visit.

The Belmont Weekday School voluntarily participates in the Star Quality Program and recently received their Three Star rating!
